Salsa that feels good to dance, not just to watch
Plenty of Toronto schools teach you a routine. We teach you to dance with a partner: timing you can feel, leads that are clear, and follows that are comfortable. That is what makes a social dance fun instead of stressful.
Classes stay small, so a coach can actually correct you. And because we teach ballroom and Latin at a world-champion level, your posture, frame and footwork get the same attention.
Torn between styles? Bachata is slower and closer, salsa is faster and full of turns. Many students learn both.

Every Thursday the studio turns into a Latin social: salsa and bachata, beginners next to seasoned dancers, and nobody sitting out for long.
- Social dancing is $10 drop-in, free for members
- A regular class runs before the social at 8:00 (book it with a class pass)
- No partner needed: everyone rotates

Do I need a partner for salsa lessons?
No. Partners rotate in every course and class, so you dance with everyone, and that is how you get good fast.
I have never danced. Which level should I take?
Level 1. It is built for complete beginners and covers timing, basic steps, first turns and partner connection.
How long does it take to learn salsa?
It varies, but many students start enjoying socials after Level 1 and build real confidence through Levels 2 and 3. Practising at Latin Thursdays makes a big difference.
How much are salsa lessons?
Each 4-week course is $109. Private lessons start at $140 + tax ($169 + tax with a head coach), and Latin Thursday social dancing is $10 drop-in, free for members.
What should I wear to salsa class?
Comfortable clothes you can move in and shoes with a smooth sole that can turn. Avoid grippy running shoes. See our FAQ for more.
