Getting Started

Do I need any dance experience?

Not at all. Most of our students are stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time. Our instructors guide you from the basics, so you’ll never feel left behind.

No. You’re welcome to come solo or with a partner, most students attend on their own, and in group classes we rotate partners so everyone gets to practice with different people. For private lessons, you’ll work one-on-one with your instructor.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Flat, smooth-soled shoes are fine for your first class, no need to buy dance shoes right away. Over time we recommend investing in a proper pair, they’re safer and improve your experience, we have some for sale at the studio.

That’s exactly why we’re here. Everyone starts somewhere, and building a welcoming, judgment-free environment is one of the things we’re most proud of.

That’s exactly what our consultation is for. We’ll talk through your goals, answer your questions, and build a personalized plan so you know exactly what your next step is.

Every dancer starts with different goals. A short consultation helps us recommend the right program and makes sure you have the best possible experience from day one.

Depends on your goals. Private lessons get you progressing quickly with personalized coaching, group classes are great for practice, confidence, and meeting people. Many students do both.

Not sure? We’ll help you choose during your consultation, whether that’s Salsa, Bachata, something in the Latin and ballroom world, or just learning to dance socially.

We’re an 18+, adults-only studio.

We believe consistency is what actually builds real dance ability. One class here and there is fun, but the confidence, technique, and connection you’re after come from showing up regularly. We recommend building a steady weekly rhythm that fits your life, even one class a week, done consistently, beats occasional bursts every time.

Is this suitable for complete beginners?

Absolutely. Most of our students have never danced before. Our beginner courses take you from your very first step to dancing confidently in a supportive environment.

Our beginner courses run four consecutive weeks, one class per week, each lesson building on the last.

Salsa and Bachata are the most popular choices for beginners. Not sure? We’re happy to help you choose.

No problem, whether you’ve taken a few classes or you’re returning after years away, we’ll place you in the course that matches your experience.

What's the difference between a course, a membership, and a class pass?

Beginner courses are structured 4-week programs for a specific dance style. Memberships are built around consistency, a steady weekly rhythm of group classes and private coaching, which is how real, lasting progress happens. Class passes and private lesson packages (5, 10, or 20 lessons) are a flexible, no-commitment option for dancing on your own schedule, but if you’re serious about improving, a membership is the better path. Not sure which fits? Book a consultation and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Any of our group classes or weekly socials, and you can bring a friend along using one of your credits.

The easiest way in is our $99 private consultation, we’ll assess your goals and recommend the right course, membership, or package for you.
